Covid 19 health restrictions on Aged Care and Hospitals cease
The Queensland Premier The Hon. Annastacia Palaszczuk has confirmed this morning that there is a further lifting of COVID restrictions across Brisbane during this morning's update on the state’s response to the pandemic.
Therefore all restrictions for hospitals, aged care, correctional and disability services facilities across southeast Queensland have been lifted as of 12 noon on Friday.
This comes after Queensland recorded no new COVID cases in the community in the past 24 hours.
So far over 650 contacts of the PA Hospital doctor have been tested, with 99 per cent back - all negative.
Joined by Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young, Ms Palaszczuk said there was no evidence of any failure by the Hotel Grand Chancellor, while the CCTV showed no breaches.
