Gayundah Arboretum is located in woody Point with the entrance off Gayundah Esplanade.

It offers beautiful views over the waters of Moreton Bay and to Moreton Island.

A quiet, peaceful spot for a picnic, a walk or just to relax and take in the views and appreciate what a beautiful place we live in.

It has parking, plenty of shady trees, picnic tables, Barbecue and Amenities.

It is also home to the Gayundah Ship Wreck.

Best viewed at low tide, the wreck, which has been there since 1958 is slowly breaking up due to the constant waves, but well worth the visit and to learn about it’s history.
