Bribie Island beach access
Police are expecting a large numbers of people to flock to Bribie Island beaches incoming weeks.
There are a few things that you need to know before doing so.
Attending the swimming beaches is fine but remember your social distancing.
The beach access for camping and four wheel driving will require the necessary National Parks and Wildlife permits which you can book online.
There is now a National Parks Restricted Access Area authority that you will need to obtain prior to going to the beach if you want to take your four wheel drive vehicle.
This is to limit the number of persons using these areas to help maintain social distancing.
Police and National Parks Rangers will be checking, so if you haven’t got the necessary restricted access authority, you will not be permitted on the beach in your vehicle.
Don’t be disappointed if you are turned away when you haven’t got the authority, or worst still, you get a fine.
You can book it here but there are limited numbers.
Have a great weekend whatever you are doing.
Keep up the great work and stay safe.
