Kallangur Over 50’s Social Club Inc.
Many members have been coming regularly for over 25 years.
During this time, long and lasting friendships have been made, with members catching up each week.
To join, our membership fee is only $5-00 and is renewed on the 1st of July each year.
Currently we have 170 financial members on our records.
They all enjoy our Social Club, with special activities provided throughout the year.
Even though we are an Over 50’s Social Club, junior members are welcome.
Our members range from 30 to 97 years of age.
Tuesday’s are the main ‘outing’ for our Club, where approximately 70 members gather in the Auditorium at North Leagues Services Club, Anzac Avenue, Kallangur from 9.30 a.m. until midday.
Morning tea is provided.
We have free games competitions with vouchers to the value of $5-00 to be won each week.
Each week the Management of North Leagues kindly donate lunch vouchers to be used as lucky door prizes for our member’s. A raffle helps with funds for our Christmas and Club Birthday Parties.
A weekly entrance fee of $ 3-00 is payable at the door.
All new visitors are welcome to attend club on three occasions before we ask them to join.
We have a clubhouse called Black Duck Cottage, at No. 3 Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs (opposite the sports field).
The Moreton Bay Regional Council has generously supplied us with a lease, so that we may call our little cottage home.
At the cottage the following activity takes place.
Cheap bingo is held on the first Thursday of each month (weeks sometimes change) with morning tea provided at 8.45 am and bingo commencing at 9.30 a.m.
The bingo prizes consist of grocery items and Cole’s gift cards.
The cost for this great morning out is only $5-00 and must be pre-paid at Club the week prior for catering purposes.
Our bus-committee organizes day bus trips each month for approx. $ 50-00. These trips are usually held on a Thursday.
There is at least one extended trip each year giving members a chance to enjoy a holiday with friends.
These trips are always very good value for money and part payments can be made each week.

Play affordable BINGO with generous CASH PRIZES.
Non-members can visit and play bingo three times
before having to become a financial member. Bingo commences at 10.30 a.m.
Membership cost $ 5-00 per year and weekly attendance is $ 3-00.
All activities are priced for persons on limited incomes. All profits are returned to the members in the form of
CLUB CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAY PARTIES.
SPECIAL DAYS ARE HELD THROUGH OUT THE YEAR.
The North Leagues Club provides their Courtesy Bus for club members who live within the area.
