Early Childhood Education in Queensland is Open for Discussion

Educators, early learning centres and families in North Lakes Burpengary East and Deception Bay can now have a say on the future of early childhood education in Queensland, said Chris Whiting MP.

Chris Whiting said the Palaszczuk Government wants to build Queensland’s world-class early childhood education system so all children have a great start no matter where they live in Queensland.

“Early childhood education is the best first step we can give to Queensland kids – the first step to a better education and to future jobs,” said Chris Whiting.

“We have invested more than $293 million into early childhood education in the 2019-20 budget.

“To guide our future investment, the Palaszczuk Government wants to hear how we can improve early childhood education for Queensland kids.

“Our review into early childhood education includes an online survey for all early learning centres, families, and educators,” said Chris Whiting.
