Education is key for caravan compliance

Last Friday, Caravanning Queensland, QTMR Compliance, RACQ, QPS Moreton District Crime Prevention Unit and industry engineers held a ‘Caravan Compliance Day’ at the Redcliffe Dolphins.

The event saw voluntary attendance of 48 caravans, to have their cars and caravans inspected for gas compliance, weight compliance and set up of their caravan and towing systems.

All partners were on hand to give advice on road safety, tips when travelling, outback road safety, security of homes when away and much more.

The day proved to be a huge success.  More compliance days will be planned for the Moreton District through out the year.

Dates still to be confirmed but will be advertised.
