Eight new first year constables hit the streets of Moreton District

Eight First Year Constables (FYCs) who were sworn in to the Queensland Police Service on Thursday, January 17 have been busy settling in to the Moreton Police District over the past nine weeks.

The FYCs have been excited to start their new careers, settling into policing life and putting their training into action.

These FYCs were part of 78 officers who graduated from the Queensland Police Academy (Oxley).

Superintendent Brady attended Burpengary Station a few weeks ago to welcome the new officers to the District.

They also got to catch op with the Police Minister Mark Ryan MP last week who welcomed them to the area.

On behalf of the Moreton Police District we wish to congratulate Constables Schmidt, Lin, Knights,  Letatau, Bell, Fee, Simpson and Dawson and welcome you all.

The officers will be stationed at Bribie Island, Burpengary, Caboolture, Redcliffe and Deception Bay.
