What are the defects?

A manufacturing defect may cause the heater to rupture when turned on allowing hot oil to leak or spray out.

What are the hazards?

Risk of fire, scalding or burns from contacting hot oil.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should stop using their affected heaters immediately and return them to their nearest Bunnings store for a full refund.
