Member for Morayfield The Hon. Mark Ryan says everything is progressing well on Caboolture Hospital Upgrades and works are beginning on the much needed car park facilities at the hospital.

“The additional car park will significantly improve patient, visitor, staff and emergency vehicles access, and the time it takes to find a car park at the hospital,” Caboolture Hospital executive director Dr Lance Le Ray said.

“It can only positively enhance access to our inpatient and outpatient services.”

It’s a timely announcement with the construction of the 32-bed ward 3B is being completed and the opening of the Intensive Care Unit late last year.

Queensland Health’s main priority and could expect more upgrade announcements in the near future.

It has cost $4 million to expand the Caboolture Hospital car park by 300 extra spaces.

This is wonderful news. The Caboolture/Morayfield areas are expanding very fast, with more and more people coming to live here. It is imperative that the hospital and other health services are able to cope with the growing population. I hope that there are more upgrades for the hospital.
