Warner Wheelchair scram scam
Reports are coming in from the Warner area regarding a male in an electric wheelchair pretending to be broken down.
He requests money off poor suspecting members of the public in order to get a taxi home saying that his wheelchair had a flat battery.
The male then pockets the cash and drives off happily.
It is lovely to see the generosity of the community hasn’t waned in these hard times but local police are requesting that you take care when handing over money to unknown persons.
