MBRC Council Candidate Denise Sims calls for action sort the Dohles Rock Road on-ramp signals out

Council Candidate for Moreton Bay Regional Council, Denise Sims, has started a petition calling for action to sort the Dohles Rock Road on-ramp signals out.

When set properly the signals have the potential to reduce congestion and ease merging traffic onto the highway. However, the current timing settings per green light seem to be working against this purpose.

Ms Sims said “Locals have told me they’ve waited 40 minutes to get onto the highway from Castle Hill; a trip that should take no more than 4 minutes”

“These signals have been proven to work on other ramps in Brisbane, but the Dohles Rock Road on-ramp signals on their current time cycle are making matters worse”

People can sign the sign the E-petition at Queensland Government On-ramp lights, Dohles Rock Road E-Petition .

Or go to the following places to sign a paper petition:

Murrumba Downs Gourmet Meats, Murrumba Downs
Office of Shane King, 1/15 Goodfellows Rd, Kallangur, 4503.

“I’m calling on TMR to improve the signals or remove them”
