There are many stories in the media about families walking off their properties and generally battling to survive.

While there was an upsurge of public support about twelve months ago, such support has inadvertently waned.

More recently bushfires have commenced early in the season throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Hundreds of fire fighters are tackling explosive situations trying to protect houses and other buildings following urgent evacuation of residents to hastily established refuge centres.

Lion Clubs throughout the Moreton Bay Region have come together to launch a counter top collection with the generous support of commercial and other outlets throughout the region.

All donations would be grateful accepted wherever you see the branded collection cans.

Our collection cans are in place and will continue until the 17^th December 2019.
