The Redcliffe Hive will cease to exist from July 1st.

Two years ago, Moreton Bay Regional Council announced - with great fanfare - a trial of a co-working space in Redcliffe.

This week, council has confirmed the trail is over and The Redcliffe Hive will cease to exist from July 1st.

It'll be converted back to council office space for staff training and administration - after not having experienced the expected demand.

Those groups which have been using the Hive will be offered space at Redcliffe Cultural Centre, Redcliffe Library or the Old Fire Station Hub.

Meanwhile in Ipswich, it's full steam ahead with a similar project. So what will make Firestation101 work, when the Redcliffe hub didn't?
