VMR Bribie Island will host a series of 5 free educational workshops on boating safety, to be held once a month on a Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. The workshops are perfect for beginners. We invite all residents and visitors to the Moreton Bay region to attend. The topics will include:

10^th JUL – Safe Boating & Fishing regulations
14^th AUG – Local Knowledge Moreton Bay & Pumicestone Passage
11^th SEP – Local Fishing tips and tricks
9^th OCT – Basic Navigation
13^th NOV – Small boat engines and maintenance

The first workshop will be Sunday 10^th July 2016 at 2pm at the VMR Bribie Island Base. At this free public workshop, Qld Water Police will be partnering with: Maritime Safety Qld, Qld Boating and Fishing Patrol, National Parks and Wildlife, Qld Police and VMR Bribie Island. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive information/ask questions regarding marine safety concerns, rules and regulations in SE Qld.
