Lower Moora Park in Park Parade Shorncliffe is definitely one to put on your ‘Playground Bucket List.’ Its forts, slides, wooden carvings and seaside setting make it the perfect destination for hours of family fun. it is not just the playground that is appealing. The immediate surroundings of Lower Moora Park make it easy to spend a whole day in the area. Nearby Shorncliffe Pier stretches out into Bramble Bay and is perfect for enjoying a leisurely stroll, a spot of fishing or even as a venue for family/wedding photos. There are plenty of picnic spots under shady trees, with magnificent views of the Bay and Pier. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Lower Moora Park, then head up the hill to Upper Moora Park, where there are swings, peaceful shady gardens, a rotunda and great views overlooking Bramble Bay. Large established trees and shade sails provide plenty of cover over most of the playground and the close proximity to the water provides a lovely sea-breeze.
