DESCRIPTION:The Caboolture community is invited to an event that will turn the spotlight on electricity bills and help them understand how to save energy and money. \n  \nSwitch On…Caboolture is being hosted by the Queensland Council of Social Service on Monday 20th November and will let people know about rebates and other help available as well as what people can do to manage their energy use and costs.  It will also help people to understand the charges and how to read their bill. \n  \n“We know that electricity costs are a major expense for people throughout Queensland\,” said QCOSS Chief Executive Officer\, Mr Mark Henley.  “This session has been designed to help people understand their bill and where they can make savings. \n  \n“We are also keen to hear the tips that people in Caboolture have for cutting down their electricity bills”. \n  \nThere will be lucky door prizes of $50 Bunnings Vouchers. \n  \nThe event will be made up of two short information sessions at 3.30pm and 5.30pm followed by opportunities to have one-to-one conversation with QCOSS and/or Ergon staff where people can discuss their own energy use and raise any other issues. \n  \nAll members of the community are very welcome. \n  \nThis information session in Caboolture is part of a state-wide series of public events run by QCOSS which aim to provide people with information on what they can do to reduce energy and avoid bill shock. \n  \nDate:   20th November 2017 \nTime:   3pm to 7pm \nVenue: Caboolture RSL\, Hasking Street\, Caboolture \n  \nThese events are supported by the Queensland Government and Ergon Energy  \n
