SUMMARY:Bribie Gem & Fossicking Club GemFest 2017 9-10 September
DESCRIPTION:The Bribie Island Gem & Fossicking Club’s  Gem Festival is being held on the weekend of September 9th & 10th at the Bribie Island Gem & Fossicking Club located in the grounds of the Bribie Island Art Centre. Times 8am to 4pm.  \nThere will be exhibitors selling rough gemstones\, faceted stones\, cabochons\, jewellery\, fossils\, mineral specimens\, lapidary tools and equipment. \nBeautiful hand crafted silver jewellery is available for sales by Club members. Thought out the day\, members will give demonstrations of faceting\, cabbing and silversmithing.  \nChildren can enjoy the lucky dip and fossicking tables were they can hunt for hidden gems. There is a wonderful Children’s raffle to be won too. \nFood and refreshments will be available. \n Our major raffle price\, donated by Tangalooma Island Resort is a Family day trip to the Resort (2 Adults & 2 children). In additional\, 3 fabulous jewellery prizes created by club members are to be won in the raffle.  \nTicket are $2.00\, available from the Gem & Fossicking Club . Entry to the show is a gold coin\, children under 15 Free.
