DESCRIPTION:Beachmere Art Society is partnering with at least five other community groups to bring an affordable festival to Moreton Bay. Instead of spending loads of money at the EKKA\, \nSee local artists do demos\, play barefoot bowls\, take a tour of Beachmere’s edible garden\, learn to play ukulele for free\, learn how to art\, or find out about the secret stories of Beachmere. \nEvent entry is free! The festival is run 100% by volunteers and estimate that between our groups there are between 90 and 100 volunteers who will help out during the event. \nHave some fun\, do some things\, eat some sausages and bring the family. \nThis event is catered to young\, old and in between. It is accessible for those with mobility issues and we have activities indoors to keep warm. \nPaid events\n– Beachmere Art Festival Exhibition Free Entry to exhibition\n– Rock Painting $5 per 50g of rock\n– Organic Clay Jewellery Class (2 hours) $15 per person\n– Acrylic Painting Class (2 hours) $15 per person\n– Beachmere Garden Plant Sales As priced\n– Beachmere Bowls Trial: $10 per person $5 for accompanied children\n– Artist Sales: As priced\n– Exhibition Sales: As Priced\n– Raffles: $5 for three tickets \nFree Events\n– Artist Demonstrations\n– U3A Learn to play Ukelele\n– U3A Logic Competition\n– U3A Community Puzzle\n– Beachmere Community Garden Tours\n– History of Beachmere Art Walking Tour\n– History of Beachmere Indigenous Storytime\n– Community Feedback Board (for all community groups and Moreton Council)\n– Community Treasure Hunt\n– Paint and display on the day art corner (with prizes).\n– Moreton Council Information Table \nWhilst there may be room on the day we ask that you make bookings so we know numbers. \nBookings can be made through Eventbrite at the link below (even for free events).\nTickets for the Beachmere Art Festival \n  \n
