The competition is already underway and runs until April 19\, 2026. \nThere are already some fantastic fish being submitted. It is not too late to register and be a part of this FREE fishing competition. \nOpen to all City of Moreton Bay residents aged 12 to 25\, the competition encourages participants to explore the great outdoors while fishing within the Moreton Bay area. Entry is completely free\, making it an accessible and exciting opportunity for young anglers of all skill levels. \nThe competition is proudly brought to you by the City of Moreton Bay in partnership with 2 Bent Rods\, combining community engagement with a shared passion for fishing and the local environment. \nParticipants will have the chance to win a range of fantastic prizes\, including a custom-made fishing rod\, fishing prize packs\, tackle store gift vouchers\, and a half-day bay fishing charter. \nTo enter\, participants must download the 2 Bent Rod app and register for the competition. The app also allows users to stay updated throughout the event. There is also a Moreton Youth Fishing Competition Facebook page that you can join. \nFishing is allowed anywhere in the Moreton Bay Region.
