DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Recruitment Open Day at Caboolture Historical Village – Sept 2 \nJoin us for morning tea to find out about what we do here at the Caboolture Historical Village and how you can become a volunteer with our team! \nWe have lots of different roles for you to choose from; like taking care of our gardens and grounds\, serving Devonshire teas to visitors\, helping with school excursion visits\, keeping all our machinery running and restored\, working on special projects like our new train line\, greeting visitors at reception or conducting tours for groups just to name a few. \nThere are many roles available so stop in for a light morning tea along with a short presentation and Q&A session for you to pepper us with any questions you may have. \nDid you know if you are with Centrelink and over 55 you can do your required hours with us. Blue cards are organised here at the village when signing up as a volunteer which is an easy process. \nRegister to attend the open day by contacting our Volunteer Co-ordinators at Create Email to vrc@historicalvillage.com  or phone 5495 4581.

In addition to the exhibition of historical and modern lace pieces\, which will be open each day from 6th to 28th September\, our lacemakers will be demonstrating lace making\, at the Historical Society\, each Saturday in September from 9 am to 12noon. \n
