DESCRIPTION:This is a theatre restaurant performance from Maverick Musicals.  \nIt is being performed by Tullawong State High School drama troupe\, extension dance\, music\, visual art and home economic departments. \nTickets cost $15 (no concessions) and for this price audience members get a light supper and the show. \nIt is a comedy/mystery set on “The Orient express” during the 1930s. AS the train travels through each country the live band on the train plays music from that country and our extension dance students perform original choreographies in a style appropriate to the culture.   \nThere is lots of audience interaction as inspectors come out to interrogate potential suspects. \nThe students have been rehearsing for 5 months and are very excited about performing.  \nWe are performing in the Tullawong State School hall on Smiths Road in Caboolture on the evenings of Thursday 6th and Friday the 7th .  Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.   \nTickets can be purchased from the school cash office on DelRosso Road in Caboolture. \nFollow the Journey on their Facebook page

DESCRIPTION:Caboolture Sports Club has the grand final weekend set up for patrons to enjoy all the action throughout the entire venue. \nBoth the AFL & NRL grand finals will be shown on the big screen in The Showroom live and loud\, as well as throughout the club\, with ample TV screens tuning in to the game on the Saturday and Sunday. \n  \nGeneral Manager of Caboolture Sports Club\, Jamie Lancaster said the club will also be offering great specials to coincide with the grand final games. \n  \n“Members can enjoy our Footy Final Meal Deal\, which consists of two classic pizzas\, garlic bread and a jug of XXXX Gold or soft drink\, for just $20 for members\,” Mr Lancaster said. \n  \n“Even the staff will have ‘footy fever’ and be dressing in the team colours and jerseys for the AFL and NRL Grand Finals. \n  \n“The grand finals are hugely popular at our venue\, particular for members and guests wanting to get the game atmosphere and experience without being there.” \n  \nThe Grand Final games commence from 2.30pm AEST Saturday 29th September (AFL) and 7.20pm Sunday 30th September (NRL). \n  \nPre-game food and beverages will be available in the lead up to the games’ kick off and is a chance for sports lovers to secure their preferred viewing location. \n  \nWhilst the final grand final teams are yet to be decided\, the grand finals weekend is one weekend of sport not to miss at Caboolture Sports Club. \nFor more information or to make a booking visit www.cabsports.com.au or call (07) 5497 9711.
