SUMMARY:Shakespeare - Dying on the Stage 4 Events between May 9 to May 23
DESCRIPTION:Shakespeare – Dying on the Stage 4 Events between May 9 to May 23 \nWhat happens when you attempt to stage every death in Shakespeare in under an hour? Absolute chaos. \nThis fast\, furious comedy charges through the Bard’s body count\, packing stabbings\, poisonings and dramatic last breaths into one wildly theatrical sprint. Expect ridiculous metaphors\, obscure references\, musical numbers\, frantic costume changes and more mayhem than strictly necessary. \nIt’s irreverent\, over-the-top and not-at-all-subtle. Shakespeare may well be rolling in his grave\, but you’ll be laughing too hard to notice. \nA whirlwind tribute to tragedy\, gleefully turned on its head. \nA play of all the deaths in all of Shakespeare’s plays\, in an hour\, as a farcical comedy. \nPart of the Anywhere Festival – Moreton Bay and and with 4 shows across 3 weekends in May in various non-theatre venues. \nEvents are also brought to you by Buddy Brewing Burpengary and Hip Hops Brewers Brendale \nThis held at 4 locations so click the link below to choose the event you wish to go to. \nShakespeare – Dying on the Stage – Tickets and choose your event \nBuddy Brewing – Burpengary Website \nHip Hops Brewers – Brendale Website \n

sacrifice of Australia’s servicemen and women for Anzac Day on Saturday 25 April\, with services across 17 locations held by local RSL sub-branches and community groups. \n  \nThousands of locals from the City\, including Private Alfred Jull\, fell in battle during World War 1. The local timbergetter may have been lost at war\, but he will be forever remembered under a shady commemorative tree in his hometown on Archer Street\, Woodford. \n  \nProud soldier and Mayor Peter Flannery said the day was an opportunity to reflect on the immense bravery and sacrifice of Australia’s servicemen and women in overseas conflicts. \n  \n“For more than a century\, countless brave Australians\, including those from Moreton Bay\, have proudly defended us in wars and peacekeeping operations throughout the world\,” he said. \n  \n“Today\, the echoes of those conflicts\, and the men and women who fought in them\, can be found throughout our great City. Whether it be through a monument\, a park\, a road or a bus stop\, I’m proud to say the Anzac spirit continues to shine brightly in our community.” \nThe release can also be viewed online here: Sacrifice of the fallen honoured in Moreton Bay – City of Moreton Bay
