SUMMARY:2025 Mac's Bridge Classic Car and Aircraft Festival Sunday July 6
DESCRIPTION:Mac’s Bridge 2025 Promises a Day of Wheels\, Wings\, and Warplanes. \nThe Mac’s Bridge Classic Car and Aircraft Festival is set to roar into Caboolture Airfield on Sunday July 6\, 2025\, and this year\, it is bringing an extra layer of history to the tarmac.\nFollowing its 2024 debut at Caboolture Airfield\, this great Queensland tradition—uniting vintage cars\, classic aircraft and featuring the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre and now a rare peek inside the Caboolture Warplane Museum—promises a day of nostalgia\, horsepower\, and high-flying heritage. \nWhether you are a gearhead\, a plane-spotter\, or just out for a cracking winter outing\, this is one Sunday you will not want to miss. There is a small charge for entry to both aviation venues. \nIn 2024\, the Festival—sponsored by the Triumph Sports Owners Association Queensland (TSOAQ)\, the Mazda MX-5 Club\, and the Caboolture Aero Club—drew thousands to marvel at a stunning blend of  “wheels and wings.” \nThink of polished Triumphs parked beside Tiger Moths\, MX-5s gleaming next to T28 Trojans\, all set against the airfield’s grass cross strip. This year’s shift to July 6th —a tweak from last year’s July 14th perch—suggests organizers are fine-tuning the event\, aiming for clear skies and a seamless showcase. And with a shuttle bus travelling to the Caboolture Warplane Museum from the main entry gate\, attendees are in for an even deeper dive into aviation’s past. \nExpect the usual feast of classics: a Jaguar E-Type’s curves catching the sun\, a Harvard trainer’s growl stirring the air\, and the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre’s treasures—like the RAAF Caribou or a Vietnam-era Huey— standing proud. Last year’s fly-ins faltered under late winds from Boonah\, but 2025 could see more vintage birds land\, with live demos if the weather plays nice. \nOn the car front\, exhibitors will roll out everything from historic gems to modified icons\, chasing the Presidents’ Trophies judged by the host club trio. Add in the museum’s tours—showcasing meticulously preserved warplanes like the P-51 Mustang or CAC Winjeel—and you have got a lineup that’s equal parts showroom and time machine. \nThis isn’t just an event; it’s a community. The Caboolture venue\, easily reached off the Bruce Highway\, buzzes with families\, enthusiasts\, and first-timers alike—drawn by food trucks\, picnic marquees\, and the chance to chat with owners. Organizers are bringing back pre-entry email ticketing alongside day-of payments\, smoothing the flow from 2024’s gate rush. \nDIRECTIONS \nFrom BRUCE HIGHWAY\, take Bribie Island off ramp (exit 152A) and proceed towards Bribie\, keeping in left lane. Take the left turn at the first set of traffic lights\, keeping in the right hand of the two left turn lanes.\nAfter the turn\, keep straight on along Aerodrome Rd until you reach the airfield and follow local direction signs. \n \n  \nA few tweaks—more seats\, better signs\, a radial engine firing up—could elevate it further\, building on last year’s grassroots charm without losing the soul. \nChallenges remain—weather’s a wild card and syncing fly-ins with car displays takes finesse—but the TSOAQ\, MX-5 Club\, and Aero Club have the passion to pull it off. \nJuly 6th is a chance to see Queensland’s heritage roar to life: the Spitfire’s Merlin echoing wartime\, a Corvette’s chrome shining through decades\, and now the museum’s warplanes whispering  their own legends. Gates open at 7 a.m. for exhibitors\, 9 a.m. for visitors—bring your hat\, your curiosity\, and a mate who will argue Mustang vs. Mustang (car or plane\, take your pick). \nWith tours at the Warplane Museum and Aviation Heritage Centre\, Mac’s Bridge 2025 is not just a show; it’s a full-throttle journey. See you there. \n  \nMac’s Bridge 2025 at Caboolture Aero Club \nSunday 6th July 2025 \nGates Open – Display Cars 7.00am\, Visitors 9.00am \nEntrance Fees\, To be confirmed\n \nDISPLAY CAR – $20 PER CAR\nVISITORS (INCLUDING PARKING) – $15 PER CAR\nPayment is available at the gate via cash or eftpos.\nTickets for entry via the express lane can be purchased from the link below. \nhttps://www.trybooking.com/CXYNH \n \n  \nNote from the organising committee for the 2025 event \nTRIUMPH SPORTS OWNERS ASSOCIATION QLD\, MX5 CLUB QLD and caboolture aero club are organising the 2025 event with a larger display of classic aircraft and a new food court featuring an undercover seating area\nadjacent to vans offering a variety of menus and drinks. \nThree awards for “Presidents Choice” will be presented at 11:00am. \nThanks from \nTriumph Sports Owners Association / Mazda MX5 Club / Caboolture Aero Club. \n  \n

People are not only tasting the freshness and quality of the product but also gaining a greater understanding of the farmers’ experience\, their lifestyle and their dedication to quality produce. This raises awareness of the improvements being made in farming practices to build resilience in rural production and we’re seeing more and more artisans take raw and by-products to create something of even greater value.” \n  \n“From its modest beginnings in 2011\, the Winter Harvest Festival has provided a boost to our rural sector\, helping to create jobs and driving our region’s prosperity. Importantly\, it also helps to grow an appreciation for those who put food on our tables and of where our food comes from.” \n  \nWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW \n  \nMarket Stalls to Fill Your Boots (and Your Esky!)\nThere’s more than 60 stalls showcasing everything from local cheeses and small goods to freshly harvested produce\, artisan spirits\, and handcrafted treasures.
