SUMMARY:CLECS 2025 Expo at Caboolture Showgrounds October 18
DESCRIPTION:The Classic Landcruiser Expo & Car Show October 18 \nOctober 18th 2025 – Caboolture Showgrounds \nCLECS is back on October 18th\, 2025! Follow our Facebook page for the latest info. \nCLECS has always been more than just a car show—it’s a platform committed to community and cause. We are proud to be aligned with A Long Drive for Drought\, a grassroots fundraising initiative supporting Farm Angels (formerly Drought Angels)\, a registered charity offering personalized financial and mental‑wellbeing support to Australian farmers impacted by drought\, floods\, fire\, and other natural disasters. Each year\, participants from the Landcruiser community rally to raise funds—as seen in recent Long Drive fundraisers that have generated over $100\,000 per event and contributed to more than $500\,000 in direct aid delivered across 1\,300 rural communities. \nCLECS & Mr Landcruiser Team is an integral part of this initiative and they participate in this Long Drive to raise money and awareness for the farming community. CLECS is also gradually evolving into a dedicated non‑profit entity\, and this shift reflects our belief that classic motoring and meaningful community impact go hand in hand. By partnering with Long Drive for Drought and directing proceeds to Farm Angels\, our event amplifies voices from rural Queensland and beyond\, bringing attention and tangible relief where it’s most needed. We provide a platform for connection\, awareness\, and action—ensuring that CLECS is not just a commercial gathering\, but a community-driven event committed to helping farming families stay resilient and connected to the land they love. \nYou can also purchase CLECS vehicle entry\, camp site booking and general admission tickets through the links. \nTo purchase the brand new CLECS T-Shirt\, please use the following link \nCLECS 2025 – Crew Neck T-Shirt \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nNow your invaluable links for your needs: \nCLECS 2025 : Vehicle Entry Pass for Car Show \nCLECS 2025 – Camping Pass \nCLECS 2025 – General Admission \nCLECS 2025 Event Facebook page

SUMMARY:Old Mountain Farm Lovers Australia Nigerian Dwarf Goat show
DESCRIPTION:We will be at the Caboolture showground on Sunday 21st September in the undercover Arena. \nYou can see the world class Old Mountain Farm Nigerian Dwarf Goats being judged by Rick Howard. \nWe will have baby goats on display. Nigerian Dwarf goats have exceptional milk quality and are friendly\, small and easy to handle. They make great pets. \nUndercover Arena Caboolture showgrounds\, gate 3 entry. \n1. MANY USES FOR PRODUCTS AND COOKING\nNigerian Dwarf Goats produce the highest quality goats’ milk of all goats\, including dairy goats. Genetically\, their milk contains the highest butterfat\, milk solids\, and protein content – making it perfect for: cheese\, soap\, yoghurt\, ice cream\, buttermilk\, skin care and lip balm\, butter\, cream\, fudge\, and kefir. \n2.EASIER TO DIGEST\nWhile the fat content of cow and goat milk is similar\, the fat globules in goat milk are smaller\, making it easier for your body to digest. Only about 2% of goats milk is curd\, compared to about 10% in cow milk. Goat milk is also lower in lactose\, or milk sugars\, than cow milk. \n3. FEWER ALLERGENIC PROTEINS & CAUSES LESS INFLAMMATION\nMost people who are intolerant of cow milk lack the ability to digest the protein A1 casein. Cow’s milk contains more than 20 different allergens (including A1 casein) that can cause allergic reactions\, including inflammation (affecting everything from IBS and leaky gut to acne and autoimmune diseases). Goats milk contains only A2 casein\, making it\, protein wise\, the closest milk to human breast milk. One study suggests that goat milk\, when used as the first protein after breast- feeding\, is less allergenic for babies than cow milk. \n4. HIGH IN CALCIUM AND FATTY ACIDS BUT LOW IN CHOLESTEROL\nMany consume cow milk for its calcium but goat milk is actually richer in this vital mineral – with about 33% DV vs 28% DV in cow milk. Goat milk has high levels of medium-chain fatty acids – 30-35% vs 15-20% in cow milk. These fatty acids provide an energy boost that isn’t stored in body fat\, help lower cholesterol and can even help treat conditions like coronary diseases and intestinal disorders. Goat milk helps increase “good” cholesterol levels while reducing the bad ones – its healing properties are similar to olive oil.
