Australia’s largest fun run for breast cancer research: Australia’s largest Mother’s Day event celebrates its 20th
Over 100,000 supporters will run and walk at 92 locations across Australia. 30,000 expected at the Melbourne event.
This year we’re aiming to raise $4 million mark in funds raised for breast cancer research.

Great visuals: This year the Mother’s Day Classic celebrates its 20th year. The event will feature lots of mums and families wearing bright costumes, all enjoying Mother’s Day. Many teams will be wearing tribute cards to honour loved ones and at at the finish line will place these cards on a large Tribute Wall.

Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic is the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s biggest single donor, and since 1998 has raised $30.1 million for research.
- 47 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each day
- 1 in 8 Australian women will get the disease in their lifetime
This year’s Mother’s Day Classic fun walk/run will be held on Sunday 14 May across Australia.
The Mother’s Day Classic will be held in more than 92 locations, from capital cities to remote towns, all around Australia.
