Pink Week centres on Woolworths Caboolture South With Live Morning Magazine Thursday October 27
October 27, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Caboolture Cancer Support Group has its big day with a live outside broadcast from the Caboolture South Woolworths store as a way of raising awareness of cancer and those who have it, been treated for it and have survived it with their stories being told to inspire others to join the fight against cancer.
This year Pink week starts on Monday October 24 and runs for the remainder of the week.
Rosemary Worthington will again host the live broadcast on Thursday October 27 and have interviews during the live show and chat with many notable guests live on air and there will be a sausage sizzle merchandise and plenty of people to help celebrate the success stories.
Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon campaign aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research.
Every day in Australia around 50 women are diagnosed with breast or a gynaecological cancer. Whether it’s selling merchandise, volunteering on Pink Ribbon Day or hosting a Pink Ribbon Fundraiser, we are asking everyone to unite in pink to help Cancer Council beat women’s cancers.
