Lifeline Bookfest is back in Sunshine Coast 7-10th April 2016

The huge Lifeline Bookfest event is back at the beautiful Lake Kawana Community Centre, Sunshine Coast from 7-10th April 2016.
Proceeds from the Sunshine Coast Bookfest support Lifeline services such as the 24 hour 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line. In Queensland Lifeline services and shops are run by UnitingCare Community – a leading provider of community services and programs for individuals, families and children
The event offers over 10,000 pre-loved books, CD’s, DVD’s, puzzles, board games items for prices as low as $1.
This is the third time the Lifeline Bookfest has been held at the beautiful Lake Kawana Centre and it has over 160 trestle tables covered with a variety of books including mystery, fantasy, humour, crime, romance, non-fiction and fiction, sports, novels, children’s books and many more!!
“Our last Lifeline Bookfest was a great success. We received lots of positive feedback about the new location and about the variety of books and other items that we sell at the Bookfest” said Melissa Keary, Lifeline retail Coordinator.
“Lifeline Bookfest Sunshine Coast will be split into two sections, a priced section – where all books are individually priced to their trending value, and all other books in the $2 section, where all books in this section just $2 each”.
“Everyone should experience a Lifeline Bookfest because no Bookfest is the same and you never know what treasures you might find” Said Ms Keary.
“To get the best bargains I encourage our customers to come early to the Bookfest, bringing your own bags, backpacks or suitcases to make it easier to carry your purchases home. With prices low as a $1 we assure you the best bargains in town”
“Customers who would like to donate their pre-owned books to us can visit our Lifeline shop Bokarina, just 100 metres up the road to donate their books”
