Rediscover the history, culture and arts of the Medieval period at the Abbey Museum these Winter school holidays! Kids Dig It! returns June 29th – July 1st with Medieval Family Fun. Enjoy hands on, educational activities with the whole family! Suited for ages 5 – 12 years.
Kids can:
– Practise with a bow & arrow, guided by our Archery team
– Design your own hand-painted shield inspired by Medieval Heraldry
– Uncover artefacts in the Archaeological Dig
– Discover the world of medieval Knights, Weaponry and Armour with hands-on workshop featuring armour, chainmail and weapons to feel and try on!
– Enjoy games, quizzes and more inside the Museum
