Hann Family Fundraiser Saturday 22nd October at Morayfield East State School

A fundraiser on Saturday 22nd October at Morayfield East State School. A community event whereby local businesses, friends and family are involved in trying to raise money for this beautiful family.

A reminder of the story of the Hann family:

Christine Hann is a 31 year old mother of 3 children aged 8, 6 and 17 months old. In April this year, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, it was a huge shock to us all. Then after 4 months of harsh chemotherapy she started to develop excruciating headaches…after days of pain, ICU and lots of tests, on the 2nd of September she and her family were told that the cancer has spread to her brain and that she only has a matter of weeks left.

Christine and Shaun moved up to Mt Isa from Morayfield in 2013, but with family and friends still down here, continued to visit often. Since the cancer Christine and her family have relocated back here for treatment etc.

There has been a gofundme page set up and a variety of fundraisers to help her and her family make important ‘bucket list’ memories and to try and create something substantial to support the family afterwards.

One of the features of our event is that Voice grand finalist Tash Lockhart has kindly offered to come and perform at the event.
