Free Breast screening service will be located at the library in Bongaree from 28 January until 20 February 2020.

Women in Bribie Island and encouraged to book their two-yearly breast screen from today when BreastScreen Queensland’s mobile screening service returns to Bribie Island.

The free screening service will be located at the library in Bongaree from 28 January until 20 February 2020.

Women aged 50 to 74 are particularly encouraged to have a breast screen every two years, however the service is provided free to all women aged 40 years and over.

It’s not just women who receive a letter from BreastScreen Queensland who can participate in this free screening program. Women who have not received a letter, but who would like to make an appointment can call 13 20 50 or book online at breastscreen.qld.gov.au.

For women unable to attend the mobile service while it’s on Bribie Island, there is a Breast Screen service at the Lakes Centre, King St, Caboolture, which is open every week day and some Saturdays.
