Eatons Hill Hotel “Beers for the Bushfires” Charity Drive Sunday 24th November 12pm until 6pm

After another week of severe fire conditions across New South Wales and Queensland, Brisbane north’s Eatons Hill Hotel has launched their “Beers for the Bushfires” Charity Drive in support of the QLD Rural Fire Services.

Eatons Hill Hotel owner and Director, Robert Comiskey felt morally obligated to provide some support for those who have helped in the blazes across the East Coast.

“Our heart goes out to the people involved in the current state of emergency within Queensland and New South Wales. It’s a tragic situation and I have the upmost respect for the firefighters, volunteers and emergency services who have been working tirelessly to protect the lives and homes of the fire-affected communities.

We hope we can help in our own small way and I also hope this encourages others to do what they can too”.

On Sunday 24th November, Eatons Hill locals can support QLD firefighters by donating behind the Main Bar at Eatons Hill Hotel and enjoying a XXXX product in return.

Eatons Hill is proud to announce that in an initiative with XXXX, 100% of all takings on XXXX products sold including Furphy, Iron Jack, XXXX Gold, James Squire and more will be donated directly to the QLD Rural Fire Services and the firefighters struggling to contain the bushfires.

With Queensland bushfire emergency’s ramping up over the last week, fire authorities have issued emergency warnings across QLD with more than 70 blazes still burning across the state.

“The emergency situation has not subsided and so, I encourage you to donate or join us this Sunday to raise money” Mr. Comiskey says.

“Beers for the Bushfires” commences 12pm until 6pm, this Sunday 24th November and will feature live music and Charity Donation Bins.
