The Caboolture  Hospital Advance Care Planner Desre Arnold discusses how we all can take responsibility to prepare in advance with a loved one is set to die as part of a nationwide campaign reserved for awareness programs around the nation to hold informal meeting points in a safe place, this year as has been the case the Caboolture Hospital is your destination to have this difficult discussion with trained local professionals who will be there when you need them.

Dying to Know Day is a national event to encourage conversations around death and dying so we all know what to do when someone is dying, caring or grieving.

By encouraging death literacy and providing a space to talk about end of life plans, we can help people, families and communities to do death better.

Caboolture Hospital will host an informal Dying To Know Day morning tea on Tuesday 6 August from 10-11am in the Chapel, which will be open to staff, patients and the general public.
