Dickson Seniors Expo Strathpine Community Centre September 5 – 6

The 2016 Dickson Seniors’ Expo will be held at the Strathpine Community Centre, Mecklem Street, Strathpine on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th September .

The Expo is a great opportunity for retired, or about to retire seniors, to access information on activities  and services available in the community.  More than 60 businesses and not-for-profit organisations are represented.
Exhibits include:    Retirement Villages, Seniors Social Clubs, Hobbies and Fitness, Travel opportunities, Federal, State and Local Governments Services, Advice on numerous health issues

This year will be the 13th Anniversary of the Dickson Seniors’ Expo and is gearing up to be one to
remember.  The Key Note Speaker at the Official Opening on Monday morning will be the popular financial adviser Mr Noel Whittaker AM.

The Queensland Police Service will be updating us on important information and Russell Young  will be once again offering expert gardening advice on how to keep your garden looking its best.

Entry is free, lucky door prizes to be won, interesting and informative speakers on a variety of subjects and fashion parades by Fashions on the Go and Lowes Menswear.

There will be plenty of Entertainment, with something for everyone. The ladies from Hot Inspirations and the Get Rhythm Dance Team will be there to delight us with their moves—so bring along your dancing shoes!

This year a Free Shuttle Bus will be running to and from the Expo every half hour from Strathpine Shopping centre bus stop area.

Refreshments and off street parking available. Monday 5th September 9am – 2.30pm and Tuesday  6th September 8.30am – 2pm.
