On the 25th of May 2017 at 10.00am representatives from community organisations, survivors, families, friends and carers will come together to help raise crucial funds, all to be donated to the Cancer Council.
Everyone knows someone affected by cancer. Today, there are more than 1.1 million Australians who are either living with cancer or who have survived a diagnosis. Cancer Council is the nation’s leading cancer charity, uniting the community, creating hope, providing support and saving lives.
Around the nation people will be lifting their tea cups, having conversations and sharing stories that will no doubt, be inspirational, sad and encourage us to reflect and be mindful of on our own health and wellbeing. There will also be guest speakers: cancer survivor, health and wellbeing talks, raffles and games.
We invite you to join us at Shop 1, 8-22 King Street, Caboolture at our Biggest Morning Tea or donate online to help us reach our fundraising goal, or publish our event in your newspaper. Together, we can help Cancer Council raise much needed funds that go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.
