Australian Native Orchid Society Show Strathpine 21-25 August 2019

August 21, 2019 - August 25, 2019

Australian Native Orchid Spo Inc. in association with ANOS KABI Group Inc. invite all orchid growers to their 9th Triennial Show and Conference in Strathpine, Brisbane in 2019.

This is the 9th Native Orchid Conference & Show which will have the best display of Australasian orchids in flower which should thrill not only the orchid enthusiast but also the general public.

ANOS actively promotes the conservation and the preservation of our orchid heritage.

Through our show we hope to educate the general public and let you see the wide range of colours, shapes and sizes that exist in our own orchids. Of course the very flashy ‘King Orchid’ will be there but does the public know that there are six different varieties of ‘King Orchids’? As well as the flowering orchids, there will be an orchid photographic exhibition and botanical art exhibition and sales plus orchids and orchid supplies for sale from Australian and overseas vendors ranging from seedlings to orchids in flower. Orchid cultural advice is available.

Light meals are available. Free Parking available off Mecklem St. Strathpine Community Centre, 199 Gympie Rd, Strathpine.

Open 9am-4pm 23/24 August and 9am-1pm 25 August

Admission $5, Children under 15 free
