100 Years of ANZAC The Spirit Lives – Lest We Forget

For The third year of the 5 Year Centenary Remembrance of  World War 1 with the focus on those who fell fighting for the freedoms we hold today, the stories that have been told and the youth who proudly hold the torch alive.

The Moreton Bay Region like in all parts of Australia and New Zealand will be holding functions in every town and place to pause, reflect and pay thanks to those who served.  Moreton Bays Home Of Classic Hits 101.5 FM will be there on ANZAC Day and in the weeks leading up to it

Anzac Day happens on Monday April 25, This a solemn day of remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand Army Corp soldiers who faught and died at Gallipoli in 1914.  It is also a day of remembrance of all soldiers who have died and faught in conflicts around the world since then.  101.5 FM will be part of this years activities as part of the centenary celebrations. Lest We Forget.

There will be places to meet on the day and we will have details below.
