Redcliffe Floral and Art Festival June 22-24

Redcliffe Floral and Art Festival June 22& 23, 10-4pm, June 24, 1-4pm celebrating Australian Landmarks and scenery in floral installations and displays, paintings by members of the Redcliffe Art Society.

Wine tasting South Australian varieties, piano entertainment by Joan Wilkie, Collins Pipe Organ with Robert Holt and Aussie Bush Band.

Using the theme of Dorothea McKellar’s poem, “I Love a Sunburnt Country”, the Festival uses floral displays, paintings and pottery to present Australian landmarks, heritage and scenery.

St Peter the Fisherman Church teams with the Redcliffe Art Society and the Redcliffe Pottery Group to celebrate the diversity of our country.

Devonshire teas will be served, craft activities for young visitors, and musical performances will complement the displays.

The Sunday event  concludes with sales of plants and flowers.

Raffles including Sandra Hines Water Colour of the “Flinders Ranges” and more.
