Switch On…Caboolture! turn the spotlight on electricity bills Monday 20 November Caboolture RSL
November 20, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Caboolture community is invited to an event that will turn the spotlight on electricity bills and help them understand how to save energy and money.
Switch On…Caboolture is being hosted by the Queensland Council of Social Service on Monday 20th November and will let people know about rebates and other help available as well as what people can do to manage their energy use and costs. It will also help people to understand the charges and how to read their bill.
“We know that electricity costs are a major expense for people throughout Queensland,” said QCOSS Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mark Henley. “This session has been designed to help people understand their bill and where they can make savings.
“We are also keen to hear the tips that people in Caboolture have for cutting down their electricity bills”.
There will be lucky door prizes of $50 Bunnings Vouchers.
The event will be made up of two short information sessions at 3.30pm and 5.30pm followed by opportunities to have one-to-one conversation with QCOSS and/or Ergon staff where people can discuss their own energy use and raise any other issues.
All members of the community are very welcome.
This information session in Caboolture is part of a state-wide series of public events run by QCOSS which aim to provide people with information on what they can do to reduce energy and avoid bill shock.
