Moreton Youth Week Fishing Competition Hooks Young Anglers Across the Bay
Free event offers exciting prizes and outdoor fun for the City of Moreton Bay local youth this April.

Young fishing enthusiasts across the Moreton Bay region are invited to cast their lines and compete in the Moreton Youth Week Fishing Competition. The competition is already underway and runs until April 19, 2026.

There are already some fantastic fish being submitted. It is not too late to register and be a part of this FREE fishing competition.

Open to all City of Moreton Bay residents aged 12 to 25, the competition encourages participants to explore the great outdoors while fishing within the Moreton Bay area. Entry is completely free, making it an accessible and exciting opportunity for young anglers of all skill levels.

The competition is proudly brought to you by the City of Moreton Bay in partnership with 2 Bent Rods, combining community engagement with a shared passion for fishing and the local environment.

Participants will have the chance to win a range of fantastic prizes, including a custom-made fishing rod, fishing prize packs, tackle store gift vouchers, and a half-day bay fishing charter.

To enter, participants must download the 2 Bent Rod app and register for the competition. The app also allows users to stay updated throughout the event. There is also a Moreton Youth Fishing Competition Facebook page that you can join.
