PTSD Love Stories – A new feature documentary on PTSD with Love

PTSD Love Stories – a new feature documentary that explores the invisible cost of caregiving through the intimate stories of three Australian families affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Their PTSD is a result of trauma incurred in their work as first responders in the triple zero services of Fire, Ambulance and Police, and the Australian Defence Force.

We are fortunate to have Rosemary Worthington to witness the opening screening on Wednesday June 11

Our stories are relevant to your audience with several of our key participants based in Queensland. Kim lives in Maleny, Nick in Hervey Bay, and Cathy, Ralph, and their family sharing their story from Bridgeman Downs in Brisbane. Stories from Gympie are also told by Cathy who grew up at the Gympie Fire Station, watching her mother cope with her father’s role as Chief Officer. Furthermore, our production company is based in Brisbane and our premiere is in Brisbane.

Community Premiere on Thank a First Responder Day – Wednesday 11 June, 6PM at Reading Cinemas Newmarket, QLD. This event marks the launch of our national impact campaign, which will run through to National Carers Week in October.
