Queensland Air Museum (QAM) is located at 7 Pathfinder Drive, Caloundra West and is run entirely by volunteers, driven by the passion that is encompassed in the vision statement of “Preserving Australia’s Aviation Heritage”. Over 94 historically significant aircraft have been sourced, restored, rebuilt, maintained and displayed to the public by QAM volunteers for almost 45 years. The Museum offers a unique experience for Sunshine Coast tourists who are seeking a cultural and historic tourism experience with a broad appeal to all ages and backgrounds. There are not many museums that allow visitors to get up this close and personal to displays. Some of the aircraft include a Caribou, Douglas DC 3, Mirage Jet, F1-11 and Helicopters. With a Halloween vibe like no other and a Harry Potter feel about it, Bray Farm Park provides an adventurous day of fun and exploring. Dubbed the ‘Harry Potter Park’ by locals for it’s bewitching structures, the park combines art, culture and nature to create a unique family fun park. Tucked away on Rivermint Street in the quiet Riverbreeze Estate of the suburb of Griffin, the park features two main structures that have a bridge, climbing net, fireman’s pole, slide, turrets and windows. also, there is a larger climbing net separate from the structures. Though the main playground is based in bark, it provides a concrete pathway that weaves around the equipment to benches and sheltered picnic tables. This feature makes the Park accessible to those in wheelchairs, parents with prams and kids bringing along their scooters or bikes.
