The Grapple: 25 April 2019- ANZAC Day

From the very first fixture between the Dragons and the Roosters in 2002 until last year’s corresponding clash in front of a record crowd of 41,142, the Anzac Day clashes have always held a special place in the rugby league calendar. The Dragons and the Roosters from 2002 and the Storm and the Warriors from 2009 have been the four teams most blessed with the honour of playing on one of Australia’s most sacred days.
