Logie winner visits Moreton Bay
One of Moreton Bay’s favourite sons and Australia’s best known story tellers William McInnes will be in Caboolture to showcase his latest book Fatherhood.
A Logie-winning actor better known for his small-screen characters in Blue Heelers and SeaChange, William has also played key roles in a number of major Australian films including Look Both Ways and Unfinished Sky.
Councillor for Division 3 said it was a privilege to welcome the talented Aussie to Caboolture for the book launch,” Cr Hain said.
“His new book is about family, about memories of his father and the memories he’s creating as a dad himself, with his own son and daughter.
“It will be a fun and intriguing read for William McInnes fans and parents especially.”
Cr Hain said entry to the author talk was free, however, there were only limited spaces available.
“Bookings are essential and I encourage anyone interested attending this fantastic event to book their spot early,” he said.
The talk will be held at Caboolture Memorial Hall on Friday 21 September at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
