Storm Warnings Cancelled for Thursday November 29

Severe Thunderstorm Warning Cancelled - Southeast Queensland

Issued at 1:08 pm Wednesday, 29 November 2017.

Rainfall has recently eased below severe thresholds, however conditions remain favourable for heavy rainfall and will continue to be monitored.

Further warnings will be issued as necessary.

62mm in 1 hour was recorded near Enoggera Dam.

65mm in 1 hour was recorded at Mt Coot-tha.

The next warning is due to be issued by 2:10 pm.

A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for the Southeast Coast and parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett and Darling Downs and Granite Belt districts.

Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at or call 1300 659 219. The Bureau and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
