Lynn Smith talks The Bribie Island Community Arts Centre with Rosemary Worthington discussing the call to all young artists to enter our inaugural Matthew Flinders Gallery Next Generation Art Prize at the Bribie Island Arts Centre.

If you are between 8 and 18, and love to paint, draw, sketch, collage, pot or create in any medium, we’d love to see your work in our beautiful Gallery. The works in this competition will be displayed from September 27 – October 15.

So get cracking on your entry now.  The Next Generation Art Prize entries will be judged in three school year groups: Years 3 – 6, Years 7 – 10 and Years 11 & 12. Students that have left school and are aged up to 18 can still enter.

All entries must be registered and paid for by September 12. Maximum of 2 entries per student.  All art works must be at the Bribie Island Arts Centre on September 19. Entry fee is $5.00 per entry.  The entry form is available at this link

We have more than $2000 in prize money on offer across three sections.
