"Another Great Place In Our Region & Surrounds"

Just a short walk from the Esplanade near the jetty to Creek Street in Redcliffe is Humpybong Creek Duck Pond. It features an amazing variety of birdlife and a great place to wander along the paths identifying the various feathered locals.
The path around is suitable for strollers, wheelchairs and scooters and you will be able to see all the different types of trees, gardens and the birds. A Pleasant, quiet and easy walk and don’t forget to check out the amazing water fountains which light up at night time and the dolphin statues in the middle of the creek.
The creek stretches the length of the long park along Creek street on one side and Humpybong Esplanade on the other and is crossed a few times by quaint bridges and surrounded by grass, gardens and chairs. Some of sections created by the curves of the water channel make great picnic areas, or you can just spend some time feeding the ducks (feeding other birds is not permitted however). There is also a walk-out area over the creek where you might spot fish, eels, turtles or frogs. The kids will have a great time identifying all the different wild life.
