Sue Droughton from Zonta Caboolture was in the studio this morning talking about International Women's Day, where Zonta Had A Lunch for a crowd of about 200 ladies to help celebrate International Women's Day. Rochelle Courtney who is the founder of Share The Dignity was their as a guest speaker.

  • The money that was raised at the lunch was shared to share the dignity to help and support women that are having it tough.

Share The Dignity is a organization that help women who are escaping domestic relationships and females who don't have the luxury of owning shampoo or toiletry's. 

Zonta Caboolture last year gave Zonta Club of Roma $1000 and Zonta Club of Long-reach $1000 to help the women of Roma and Longreach.

  • Roma had used the money to give women who have been victims of domestic violence with care packages.
  • Longreach decided to use the money to donate it to the Longreach school of dance. The Longreach School of Dance is done like the School of Air. Teachers and students who teach women in Longreach how to dance in remote outback suburbs

Zonta is now back for fun-raising at Bunnings Morayfeild on the last Friday of each month.
