Heads Up : Storms on Tuesday the 24th November

* Showers and thunderstorms will return to southeast Queensland tomorrow, with severe thunderstorms possible from late morning.

* Possible hazards include damaging winds, heavy rainfall and large hail.

* Non-severe shower and thunderstorm activity is also expected in central Queensland.

* On Wednesday some shower and thunderstorm activity will continue about the eastern districts and Peninsula.

* Hot conditions persist about the west and south of the state this week, milder about coastal regions.

* Temperatures tending 5-7C above average over southern districts today.

* Cooler air will push up from the south and ease temperatures by 1-6C from tonight, but temperatures will still remain at or above average across the interior.

* Strong northerly winds over Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast waters tonight, easing in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Spinnaker Park at 39 Lakeview Promenade, Newport, is a beautiful lake front playground appealing to children of all abilities, including those with physical disabilities and spectrum disorders such as autism. The play environment caters to all ages, with equipment encouraging children’s imagination to run wild with a play ship, a coconut rope swing, climbing nets, swings, slides and sand play. The colossal 11 metre sail tower is filled with multi-level climbing activities & two fast slides. For the little pirates, the toddler sail tower still offers climbing activities, a slide and play ship. There are picnic shelters, Barbecues and amenities. The playground is fully fenced. Adjacent to the playground is an interactive water feature that is illuminated at night.
