Sign up online for greater peace of mind for rego renewal notices & reminders
Queenslanders can now sign up to receive rego renewal notices by email after a new system was introduced by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
The new services allow customers to receive TMR correspondence by email and has already had massive interest since being introduced in June.
State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP, said the new services offer greater choice and flexibility to residents in deciding how they want to receive information and correspondence from TMR.
“People can now choose to receive e-notices, so their Vehicle Registration Notice (VRN) will be emailed instead of being sent by post,” Mr Ryan said.
“This reduces the risk of missing the payment due date if snail mail is lost or misplaced.
“The new system, combined with my Rego Reminder Stickers, means that remembering to renew your car’s rego is now easier than ever.”
Vehicle owners can also receive registration certificates by email, making it easier to manage and store information.
Additionally, email reminders are available for several other services and bookings, including upcoming driver licence renewals, vehicle inspection bookings, driving test appointments, infringement notice payments and expiring Certificates of Inspection.
