People with disability scoring try’s with Origin greats at Deception Bay

Petero Civoniceva – a former Bronco’s player and Origin great will be there to cheer on the athletes and sign autographs.
Multicap Pine Rivers and Deception Bay Junior Rugby League Club will host their annual Inter-Service Rugby League Day on Wednesday August 3 for people with disability.
 
This free event will see special guests from the Brisbane Broncos and other Origin greats come along to promote the game and cheer on aspiring athletes.
 
Held in conjunction with ARL Development, Pine Rivers Rugby Day encourages people with disability to learn new skills and get active. Rugby League is a great sporting option for people with disability. 
 
The event runs from 9.30am – 2.30pm at Deception Bay Junior Rugby League Club, the day is expected to attract a number of amateur teams and footy fans.

The line-up for the big game will see the Endeavour Tornado Bugs and the Multicap Pine Rivers Tigers play off against each other. 
Multicap CEO, Joanne Jessop said “This event provides an opportunity for our aspiring athletes and rugby fans to meet high profile players and be inspired to learn new skills. Everyone is getting really excited about the opportunity to play with their footy heroes” said Ms Jessop.
